In fact, Joan Evans has spotted it not once but twice.
From the Edmonton Sun:
_“For an (albino) calf to survive is extremely rare,” [said a provincial wildlife official].
Which makes it all the more amazing that Evans spotted the moose last fall, than again in May. . . .
“We’ve been a bit evasive about where it is because we don’t want anyone coming to look for it,” she said, adding that she’s concerned a trophy hunter will seek out the rare creature. . . ._
There are no restrictions on hunting albinos specifically.
